Dirt
Bike School is
a fun, one-day, hands-on training session
available to anyone six years old or older.
At approved training sites, a Canada Safety
Council and Motorcycle Safety Foundation
(http://www.dirtbikeschool.com/index.html)
certified
coach will teach you basic riding skills and
responsible riding practices, including risk
management and environmental awareness.
You will
learn in a controlled environment, with no
pressure, about controls, reading terrain,
turning, climbing hills and crossing
obstacles.
Practice the
basics to gain confidence, and then progress
to more challenging situations. No doubt,
you will make even more friends at the
riding range.
How much
riding do we get to do?
Classes vary from
5 1/2 to 7 hours depending
on weather, class size and the abilities of
the students. You'll be on the riding course
the majority of the time with plenty of
hands-on instruction in real-world riding
situations.
Why send my
kids to Dirt Bike School?
The Dirt Bike School is a great way to make
their first step the right one. In fact,
there is no better way to show your kids how
you value safety than by attending the
course together. Students as young as six
years of age are allowed to enroll.
Currently, over 50% of Dirt Bike School
students are children age 16 and under.
Participants may provide their own
dirt-bike, or make arrangements with
South Ridge Recreational
for rental of an appropriately sized dirt
bike.
